It is so dry here. Fires. There have been two near our town that they managed to contain. We need rain so bad. More devastation in Fort Mac. There is rain in the forecast, but I know how accurate those weather predictions tend to be. No thunder storms please. Just send a nice gentle spring type rain. I can only hope and pray.

Belling are coming out to look at my oven on Friday, she said are you sure it's not lit along the back, i said it looks like a small pilot light at one end, I know this because i just shoved my head in it to have a look, after a small gasp she said we will be there on Friday.

Good morning! I am being taken out to lunch today by a very good friend of ours, so anything that needs doing will have to be done this morning. I won't be in any state to do things later Off to make tea and coffee as Mil keeps calling at intervals just to remind me she is there. As if I could forget! Otherwise all is the same here. Thought we were going to have another sunny day - apparently not.

The Old Sailor gets his eyes tested today but at least I don't have to drag him into town as The Outside Clinic comes to him.

Apart from that, I have some more seeds [flowers & Parsley] to sow - and tea to drink !

Buttons hope today goes ok with the new consultant, & also they sort your cooker for you on friday.

Am afraid a bomb went off in the early ours, but promise to replace it today.

Hope all goes well for Private Buttons today and the new consultant can give her some help.

Off for my regulation short back and sides today, hopefully will get my highlights done this time too. (mutter, mutter, maybe the newbies will be able to spot me then !) Had to cut the last appointment short when the Old Soldier was ill.

Back from seeing my new consultant, gosh what a change he is brilliant, I am now being tested for thyroid, coliac disease, sending me for a colonoscopy ( Nice ) a fibroscan and ultrasound and MRI if needed and took 7 lots of bloods. I am over the moon with him.

I hope you won't need to change your mind. I had a lovely lunch out and feel ready for my bunk. So I will say good night and once the carer has been I shall follow that call. till tomorrow
