Well how come you have to pay for the socks then, surely they should give them to you if you are entitled to free scripts for myxoedema, NHS is very confusing at times.

The lymphoedema was diagnosed in Hampshire. I have been with the new GP in Sussex for 2 years now and have had no dopla scans, no measurements taken nor any socks prescribed. The flight socks work better than the prescribed ones which is why I choose to buy them.

Good morning! Birds are twittering, so maybe it'll be a nice day. Mil is back to talking and not sleeping, but she is at least happy. Pam, Clive is on chemo in tablet form. I must say, I prefer the drip variety, as there are no bits of paper telling me of all the possible side effects. It is quite scary when you read what can possibly happen. Time to visit the canteen now. And maybe I can do a little bit of re-listing before the carer comes

Rather frosty out there at the moment but the sun is shining so maybe another nice day is in store for us.

Think I'm joining Sarge in the no sales race - none for 3 weeks which is highly unusual. Just keep on listing and editing and start a new Plug thread, I 'pose.

    Have all a good day.

Annie hope it stays sunny for you here there was a hard frost but the sun soon sent it away & have it very sunny day now lets hope it lasts.

Meebo I found ther were so many side effects with the drip chemo, as it is has rein my veins so have such a hard time when they take bloods, hope when have it done on Tuesday will work ok, also hope Clive doesn't get chemo brain even now it gets like it which is ok as long as Nigels not having fibro fog. How long does he have to take the tablets for.?
Moonie you are doing well with your weight loss.

Off out in a minuet to a indoor market, just in case any bargins.

suppose the car boots will soon be about again.

Still doing a very good impersonation of the incredible shrinking woman.

Managed to wibble wobble my way from the bedroom to the living room at about 2pm

Not sure if I benefited from sleeping that much as everything had seized up...lol

Two strong mugs of Nescafe later am now feeling more human...grocery shopping done and bedding in the washer...am cooking on gas...lol

I wish I was cooking on Gas, i have had to buy so much junk so we can at least have hot food, so far i have a skillet, a rice cooker / steamer and a deep fat fryer, oh and have a infra red grill.
I am using these on a TV table as the Joiner never turned up to cut the worktops and the carpet fitter has done a runner and hasn't come back but he very kindly put the tackless down so that you rip your feet on it and took payment of course.
