Oh what a wonderful morning, the sun is shining and no smelly leg dressings to do !!! I've phoned the hospital and the Old Soldier is now on the medical assessment ward but they didn't find him a bed until 1.00am, it's just shocking the pressure the NHS is under at the moment.



It's so weird, O/H has gone to the snow dome in Birmingham skiing so this is the first time in four and a quarter years I have had the house to myself ! I'm just going to potter and catch up slowly on the things I didn't do yesterday then pop to the shops and later will visit the hospital. Thank you to all troops for your good wishes.

Becky hope you get some answers from the hospital today, do make the most of the peace & quiet.

Sorry while we were out yesterday my return buyer has come back & buying a few more 10p cig cards,

We are going Shopping in a minuet & then this afternoon will do some more listing.

Somer is weiry after hospital trip yesterday so don't know whether he will list.

I went in to visit this afternoon and he is still behaving bizarrely and not eating, he looks so frail. All they have done is change a couple of his tablets. The nurse then said to me that he was medically fit to be discharged tomorrow ! I must have looked horrified as she then asked me about the situation at home. I told her it was just me looking after him and I can't cope alone with the condition he is in now so she has now done a referral to social services thank goodness, so I shall wait and see what happens.
