Ello troops. Had a nice mother's day meal last night with the cadets. Feeling very fat and full today and don't really want to do anything but O/H wants to go out this afternoon. Oh well, I suppose the exercise will do me good and I might spot some new stock. At least the sun is shining.

All quiet on the battle front except those poxy proxy bids on the YDC - Grrrrr ! I keep firing off rounds and not hitting anything !

Afternoon all, well a cold start but bright still.
Actually were good & delievered some PC to the auction house this morning & then went to the hospital as something wrong with my right shoulder N took me to GP yesterday, thinks it could be arthrites but he's not certain so wanted xray to elemanate any other problem, only snag ios they are doing Road works at the hospital, & they have closed down one of the car parks at the hospital to make into a multi storey, so real fun. So will have results back for Monday so have made another appointment for GP, gosh its all go

The Dr gave me some Codeine tablets to ease the pain but wow do actually help, the lady who did my xrays said some people come in with have taken them & they are really glazed over. So don't fancy that, will only take when necessary.

Glad Sgt you enjoyed your meal out hope you enjoy your trip out in the sunshine.

Buttons hope things are improving with you.

    Default quesion... about Edward VII??

In my quest for postcards to put in my shop, I've come across one which raises a question
I have a Postcard here with HALFPENNY STAMP of Edward VII, Postmark dated July 12th 1911. You might say so.....
It's just that he died on 6th May 1910. Over 1 Year before!! Was this normal Practice or is this an oversight, error or what??
Any body know?? I enclose a photo of said object

I don't know the answer, but the stamps might still have been in use. Or someone diddled the post office

Welcome to the eBid army barracks Private Royster. Your question has already been answered in your other thread http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...out-Edward-VII It would be good if you could just confine a question to one place otherwise you will get answers everywhere !

To make your font bigger press the 'go advanced' button on your post and use the toolbar there.

Now there is just the little matter of your compulsory induction drink in the mess ( mine's a large G&T
) while I explain that you must guard your listings with your life to get us back to that magic 4 million listings mark and uphold our glorious eBid army motto 'Nothing ever sells on an alternative site' ! I shall forgive you for losing one the other day and spare you the potato peeler as you are a new recruit but I shall be expecting you to list everything that isn't nailed down !

You have posted this query on the Stamps Forum already and I have answered you on that thread. It is not a good idea to post the same question on multiple forum sections. Please post your questions in one sections only and someone will answer you.
