Little buttons - there's nowt here either, for goodness sake, we haven't even got a blerdy pub.
Whoever heard of a village without a pub!
We used to have two, one got closed down by the brewery, the other one burnt down in April 2013 - it was called The George, and it is still standing there with scaffolding all around it. You can read about it here

Aww Sarge, there's no place on earth that can beat Cornwall - ever likely you want to go back to God's own country.
I only lived there 1981- 1986, but I completely lost my heart there.

It's taking them long enough to make their minds up Trish. I have never been to cornwall, I have been to bath and almost needed life support.

Good morning! I now know for sure that I need more than 5 hours sleep. But we had a very nice evening with our friends, and the curries I cooked are so plentiful i won't need to cook the rest of the week. Mil seems to be travelling again. She was just talking about her passport and South Africa. she leads such an exciting life! Off to grab some ticks before the carer gets here. and all the beverages are made and waiting in the canteen

Morning - having an interesting time as I've fired up my old Dell PC running XP that I haven't used in 2 years - and it's working fine. {Looking for a particular file/email that doesn't seem to have got transferred over to new PC]

Apart from that, it's sunny and warm-ish and I'm drinking hot chocolate

Oh yes Sarge I most definitely met your hills, I went to a concert at the royal crescent to see José Carreras, never again I don't care if god is on I would not go back without a helicopter.
Pam I have been telling Mike for years that this house would kill us, It was beautiful before he moved in, I didn't notice the junk moving in and building up at first but he is a hoarder, will not throw anything out and starts but does not finish anything, If I get anyone in to do a job he goes into a sort of decline, the sort of I am no good for anything syndrome, he is too old for this now, but how can you say that to someone, at the moment he is re tiling the floor where we had to take the tiles back up to finally get the cupboard in whistling his head off and happily making more mess, I guess I am better just letting him get on with it, I haven't ordered a washer or cooker yet as if I do he will leave the floor half done and start plumbing, I have finally learned my lesson on that.
Hope MIL is enjoying her travels Meebo, wish I was nearer to you all instead of stuck up in north wales by myself.
    Have a good day everyone

went for my boob squashing this afternoon and slipped into the PO on the way past. I go to pick my car up tomorrow so YDC items will be posted saturday. I too hope MIL is enjoying her travels and keeping happy. We moved here 3 years ago as Waterside was getting too much for us. I was difficult adjusting to the smaller space but now i am so relieved we did .
