I give up, i have been sat here keeping out of the Kitchen for over 2 hrs while mike puts some tiles found in the corner where the cupboard is going, i just went down to see how he is getting on and he hasn't put one tile down, I am so fed up of him wrecking my home, The kitchen is now in one hell of a mess, i feel like walking down the pier and jumping off

Oh Madelaine what a good idea, i have been down and supervised and we now have three tiles down and one in the process of being cut that's snapped off with a hump in the middle of the cutting line. I have also got 1 and a half lights on by hitting them with my feather duster, 1 full & one flashing at me. two birds eye dinners are going in the mico soon. my house has a name " rockfield" I am beginning to think it should be changed to minefield And putting a Beware of the husband notice on the gates.

Good morning. Penni, I hope all is well when you get to your daughter. In the meantime I have left tea and coffee in the canteen. LPs weren't collected, so will spend time relisting and listing more over the next few days. So that's it for my time.

That really bugs me Meebo especially if you stay in listening for the door and then they don't turn up.
Rang another electrician this morning who said he can get to me at 5 PM tomorrow so fingers crossed. Mike got a shift on last night until he ran out of tile cement
Going to finish a couple more little cardigans off have tried to get some of my buyers to join but only one has so far but not bought, oh well we can but try.

Not a good start to the day. I came down in my dressing gown and saw the Old Soldier had finished his porridge but then I spotted his walking stick hanging on the sink. I went to take it up to him and found him lying on the floor of his room. I asked him how long he had been there and he said he didn't know. He had both the call centre button and my doorbell button, to call me, hanging around his neck and hadn't bothered to use either !

I couldn't lift him by myself and so I had to quickly throw some clothes on and go and find some neighbours to help me. Thank goodness my next door neighbour was there and another lady I know happened to be passing, so between the three of us we managed to get him up. I can't believe he was so stupid to go all the way up the stairs without his stick and I don't know how he managed it either ?! Had he fallen on the stairs things might have been a lot worse. I feel so depressed at the moment, I know if I put him in a home he would hate it but I don't know how much longer I can go on coping with him, he's been with me over four years now.

I had two attacks yesterday. A bit like buses, nothing for ages then two strikes at once !
