Sorry Bit late but was sorting some stuff out all day went in the kitchen to prep a leak and potato and welsh lamb thing for dinner.
Oh hello no lights, both tubes had gone so rang B&Q and yes they had them, now as Mike can't drive because of an eye problem Well I won't let him ( My insurance ) and short ass here who can hardly see over the steering wheel has not driven for almost 6 years had to drive the car, finally found the hole for the key and the lights after using the wipers first as you do drove to B&Q struggled round the shop, ha ha tubes wont fit had a man standing there telling me they would when i know they would not, had to get two new complete new fluorescent fittings and tubes at a cost of over £50 went to check out mike put in paypal card and entered the numbers wrong twice so I grabbed the card and said whats the numbers................errrrrrrr yes he told the whole shop, I leaned over him and put the numbers in accompanied by a cholestyramine filled silent fart that you don't know you have done till........... well you know, got back in the car and after playing with the key for a while as it would not turn decided that it may not start if it thought I was going to drive off with the door wide open, then I could not get the idiot in reverse, stupid lift up thing ( who thought of that one ) Drove home as though i was in concord walked through the house into the kitchen and and the fluorescent light over the cooker was gleaming at me. I am going to stay in infuture

It is my not quite so old soldier's birthday today......he is snoozing on and off these days so I might have to nudge him once in a while or he'll miss it.....lol

Good morning. Hope everyone is well (when they get up) I agree, sarge, a book from buttons would make it rapidly to the top ten. I can't believe it is Saturday again. The week has just whizzed by. Nothing special planned except housework, as I didn't do any yesterday. I hope it is a dry day, so Barney can go outside as I really need to polish the floor in the sitting room and he would most certainly get in the way. Right, off to make tea and coffee and the bread smells as if it is done.

Morning - been sorting clothes to take on our holibobs - now to reduce the amount piled on my bed so that I can get everything into my suitcase !

Damp and miserable here again after more heavy rain. I do feel for those folks in Scotland and elsewhere - when's it all going to end ?
