No roofer Maple, the window fitters have been out and it is not the windows. getting a bit fed up of this now. if the roofer doesn't come all I will have left is to get a solicitor and report him to the insurance company,
Woke up at just gone 5 with a terrible pain in my lung, I could hardly take a breath it's still there a but but has now traveled up into my shoulder and neck and round into my back.

Ahem, that's just over the hill from me ... my lips are sealed !

Those poor shop owners having a well deserved break after the Christmas rush and having to cut their holiday short to come back to that !

Took the Christmas decorations down yesterday so back to some sort of normality, well as normal as it can get in our quarters ! Talking about strange things just look at this in my garden and it's only the 4th January !!! I have never known daffodils to come out this early before in Bath.

It was not my fault I was arguing with the roofers and somebody nicked one, but all holes are now sealed ( I hope)

Good morning. But maybe I should scrap the 'good' I was woken at 3, which I am not happy about. I expect another stressful day, so if you hear screaming from this direction, ignore it. I have made tea and coffee, so help yourself. When I have my head adjusted to today's activities - whatever they may be - I will report back

Morning - seems I will be chasing Beko about the Old Sailor's washing machine as didn't get a call back yesterday as promised.

Otherwise catching up with paperwork, washing and sorting for going away next week.

    Have all a good day.

Would have thought as meebo said the retailor is responsible, these days people don't seem to care.

Buttons hope your roofer has done the job this time, we had months of problems if you remember & in the end had to have a new roof, our insurers didn't want to know. Just hope its all ok for you now & then you can get back to normal if you know what normal is, as in this house don't know what normal is.

Sgt have lost 1 but listed 4 yesterday & hope to list some more have them scanned ready. & somer is listing as well.

That was my first thought - but they have arranged for the Beko engineer to come and look at the machine. Beko rang me this morning to make the appointment for next week.

Maple it is a new roof, it has now got three rooves one on top of the other, a felt roof, a rubber roof and a fibre glass roof and the sod still won't stop leaking. he said the wall is we in the toilet etc as the rendering has cracks in it, well it has been re rendered so the cracks must be from the scaffolding that has been up and down like a fiddlers elbow, any more work and they use a cherry picker apart from the front stack that needs coming down and i will stand there and watch them like a hawk as the front has just been painted.
Sid I think I can handle a bit of snow, hopefully it will just blow off...... i hope.
