Good morning, all. Another unseasonably warm day, and seems no wind or rain at the moment! Hope you all have been enjoying yourselves!

just being the two of us and a friend we had only a little leftover ham which i made soup with. we dont like turkey so normally just get a ham which we share on christmas day with the dogs. We had a friend round this year as he was going to be on his own so there wasnt quite as much left as usual. I,ve had a small loss but it hasnt been paid for yet so hold off with the spud peeler please

Ham is not suitable food for dogs. Not a lot humans eat is.

Good morning. Still dark outside and no idea how cold. I have done my canteen duty in spite of feeling very sleepy now. Been awake since 2 and haven't done much because I tried to get back to sleep which was a waste of time. I'll have to catch up later. I did venture into town yesterday after lunch but came back fairly quickly as places were too crowded for my liking. Might venture to Sainsbury's later. who knows, there might be a bargain to be found there

Another all nighter for me....the challenge I have is that I am a full time carer while needing to rest regularly so I can keep the muscle weakness at a manageable level.

I now have trouble chewing food....swallowing and breathing.....due to not being able to get the rest i need....but can't take the advice to rest as I don't have time ....

Which bit of being a FULL TIME carer did you miss?....lol

I am Pete's carer and he needs someone here 24/7 and we are the only people here so his care and mine are down to me.

So we take turns having naps ...which works well for both of us....

It's the other stuff like people who turn up without any notice that wake us up

Moony hope you get some rest,

Yes doesn't seem Christmas weather this year still suppose we wouldn't be happy if we had snow.

No losses or anything to report ,did finish somers relists.

Have been looking at the on line sales, according to the paper the shops didn't do as well as expected.

Ello troops. Still feeling exhausted. Went to Bristol yesterday to have a look at some carpet places as we want some new rugs but what a waste of time. Two of the three places were closed, I was amazed, just think of the business they must be losing at this time of year. The third place didn't have much choice so I shall be ordering what I want online.

Meant to be going out with friends tomorrow night - oh dear, I shall have to force myself to have a drink again !
