hello, can't say good morning as i missed it, stayed in bed trying to do some small exercises as joints have gone into rust mode and needed loosening, how the heck they expect pain killers to make you move better I will never know all they do for me is put me in a world of my own, At least if I have pain I know I am alive.
Sid I have forgotten the name of that stuff can you tell me again,
Also want some lavender in a carrier oil, almond I think but not sure, I may be able to use baby oil or bio oil, must ask Penni.

The Old Soldier is driving me potty again. For the last three days he hasn't bothered to get dressed until gone midday. This morning I was meant to be helping him with a shower so I get up early and go up to his room to find him fully dressed. "Oh I forgot" he says. I'm sure he does it to wind me up.

He is really going down hill rapidly now, an old friend phoned him yesterday and when he was talking to her first he couldn't remember how old he was and then he couldn't remember how many children he had ! He asked my O/H how many children he had (there is only me and his stepson) and O/H replied "33" !!!

yep can certainly feel the difference today, im getting loads of logs into the house,

ive decided to supplement the woodburners with paraffin heaters , the cost say compared to coal is cheaper, these modern ones dont smell , well only a bit when first lit, and put out, the ultra modern ones dont smell at all, corona rx25 and a old british one paul warmer, the paul works the same way as a corona ie it has a wick but vaporises the fuel as well so no smell when they warm up, still cant buy paraffin in bulk at a saving, the suppliers i have contacted all want the same price as pre packed, which is crazy with the price of oil today,

Oh Sid I love the smell of paraffin, i remember our old one used to pong but the smell even made you feel warm. I like the smell of petrol, turps, white spirit and brasso, oh and also good old pongy paint and i can't resist a load of vic on a hanky.
