Humph I didn't get my tea today at the posh hotel Lieutenant Maplegin. We arrived and they said "Have you booked ?" There was nothing on the voucher that said we had to book for tea, it only said for dinner ! So now we are booked in for next Monday. I bet it pours with rain that day !

Good morning! Got cramp around 4 am and that was it as far as sleeping was concerned. So got up, showered, dressed and then mopped the canteen floor. As soon as it is dry I will put the kettle and coffee machine on. Outside it looks like a summer's day. Hope it'll be nice tomorrow so that the guests can be banned to the garden. I must pay some bills before I forget. Hopefully there are enough
€€€ in my German bank account or I will beg my sister to make the payments for me. If I get the chance I will list a few odds and ends before putting the holiday notice up. I might have a bit more room to move then

Good morning - this time tomorrow we'll be waiting to go through the Channel Tunnel on our way to Reims.

Just one more load of washing to do and then tidy up a bit - any maybe find the little French phrase book that I've used for years but which has gone AWOL.

Cracking day out at Kew Gardens yesterday. Son is getting married there in September so had to go and check it all out. It was a tad warm in some of the greenhouses but so worth the visit.

Hello, won't say good morning as it isnt, have a swollen lump on forehead, swollen glands, claggy throat, bunged up beak and am spending more time in the loo than out of it. I think I have lurgy of some sort.
