mmmmm. Love me some of those smashed spuds! I make them western ranch style, though, and mash with the skin on. That's where the vitamins mostly are. And they look interesting!
    Ta-Ta for now!

I always peel them, add a pinch of salt and boil,
then drain, add pepper, knob a butter, dash of milk, then mash...
just like my mum did - however she often grated cheese in her own - yuck!!!

Morning troops, flora day is off to a wet start - so much for celebrating spring !

Got to take the Old Soldier to the docs this morning to review his medication because of his swollen legs. Hope they can sort him out.

Morning - just 9 results still to come in. As Cats says 'interesting or what' - certainly not what I expected.

Done some more scanning between watching the latest results + we have workmen working on the guttering and facia boards outside. It's a bit noisy with drills and ladders v. tv.

    Also having a coffee.

I can't stand the taste of unpeeled spuds or even scrubbed new ones, i want to know whats in there under the skin, like black bits, brown bits and sommat I saw walk out of one once so with cats on this peel, wash boil and mash wive butter.

Meebo, hope you and clive can get some rest.

Sgt hope Drs were able to sort Old Soldier,

Yes think there seems to have been lots of surprising results with the election.

Somer only likes the Potatoes without skin on won't even have Jacket Potatoes & just eat the middle.

Am going to see what relists need to be done.

Well I wasn't going to bother watching the election results come in.....

But at 4:45am I was rudely woken up when the dog 1) started snoring in my ear & 2) was dreaming about chasing something so his paws started kicking me in the ribs...... up until that point I didn't even know the dog was on my bed.

So I got up and turned the T.V. on to find that the Lib Dems were being massacred in the south west and Labour were being annihilated in Scotland..... At least the S.N.P won't be holding the country to ransom as they hoped to
