Morning - our heating is on as well, meebo but himself has been up a while as he's going over to Telford later to register his father's death - it must've been cold when he got up.

My brother-in-law is home from Afghanistan and No. 1 son and grandson arrive next week from Vancouver.

In all this kerfuffle, I'm afraid 2 newbies broke into my stores overnight and stole 2 items - BUT I was listing yesterday so my losses are already covered, Sarge

Coffee is lovely. Coldish here too but I have big hopes for the day. Friends coming at 10-ish until 4-ish.

We hope to watch the fencer guy laying the gravel trap and preping the ground for the membrane, then the chuckies.
Last Monday he sent someone else to remove the grass 'cos he was 'no weel' again! Fencer pays him direct, not me.
At least it is gone and the grass 'has left the building'.

Said he would be here the following Monday - wow that would be today then! No do - no pay, so no problem.

And no Snooker this morning or this afternoon but I will manage the withdrawal symptoms!

i've been rushing around doing last minute things before i go. Have had some losses but they are for YDC so they dont count. feet are freezing so i'm going to sit in bed with a dog on my feet and have a cuppa whilst i look at all the lovely things i can't afford to buy

Gosh it's cold here in my little dump and my darn finger is stinging like heck where i stuck the digger in, it's difficult to knit or do anything else with one finger stuck up in the air, twas in vein anyway as the hearing aid broke again so I ordered one to put him on and then found a site where i could buy new parts for his proper one, what with buying stuff for the legs, inodene, gauze dressing, special mefix tape as he is alergic to the micropore along with q tips, cotton wool and now stuff for his hearing aid + a complete hearing aid and new slippers every few weeks because of the ulcer pong, i feel as though I am running my own little NHS.

Hearing aid has arrived and he has gone out with a smile on his face, saying it's better than the NHS one and more comfortable, so that him sort of happy.
Bought him a watch on here that has got lost, seller posted on the 8th and is a good ebid seller so I know it's the PO lost or nabbed it.
OS item also not arrived but going to do a INR on that one.

Good morning! Blue sky, no clouds, so have just been outside to water some flowerpots. It's fresh out, but I think it'll get warm later. Canteen duty is done and I am glad I'll go shopping today. The fridge is rather empty. Have been promised lunch out, so no cooking today. I am a little bit tired, but i might just make it through the day without sleeping. Only time will tell....Have a good day everyone
