It's the Old Sailor's 91st birthday today and we have a beautiful clip of his Canadian gt grandson singing 'Happy Birthday' for him.
+ he has a large chocolate cupcake birthday cake to savour

Well my brother and his lady have departed and a good time was had by all. Lol, they even had physiotherapy sessions courtesy of Cadet Malcolm. There nothing like waking up and finding a physiotherapy couch still stuck in the middle of your kitchen !

Can i come and get on the couch please, I have one leg Knee creating that much havoc that it is masking all other pains, it has been massaged, volteroled and ibuprofened so far, it is even hurting when I am lying down, getting to the loo is agony ( 5 stairs down and 5 stairs up x 2 to get there and back,) i almost had my breakfast sitting on the throne as I was dreading getting back to the computer.
My dishwasher arrive at 9AM and is still in the packing as I can't get down the main stairs to attack it.

It's a pity you don't live nearer Private Buttons otherwise I could have sent the Cadet around for a home visit. The couch or plinth is portable. Mind you, you would probably be aching even more to start with as I'm still aching from one of his massages two days ago ! He's got this new torture tool and when it's pushed into your pressure points it blerdy well hurts, it certainly isn't like a gentle spa treatment !!!

All you get from the hospital here are a few sheets of paper telling you what to do your self when you get home, things like put your arms up and slide down the wall, lean against your kitchen cupboard and push yourself up right, was wast of my time and theirs, in my medical records it says that my condition will not respond to treatment
