Have an elderly lady friend in town with a sore on her shin which hasn't healed in a month and a half. Don't think the suggestions of the visiting nurses are helping at all. I'd think letting air get to a wound would help more than keeping the air out......seems like a breeding ground to me.

Know how you feel, I am still doing dressings every day and paying for all the stuff to do it, The surgery will only supple the stuff it want to and it makes them worse, I now have one of them so small it's like my little fingernail and almost healed but it will not just go that final bit, the other one is now getting tiny satellite's round it that i am zapping straight away ( this is from the surgical tape I think ) I have bought all sorts to deal with it and getting that fed up that i have put all the stuff I was given by the surgery up for sale, it's not selling as everyone else must think it's crap as well
Was awake until 6 am had three hours sleep and am hurting like hell at the moment and for some reason my lips are tingling.
