Good morning! Hope everyone is well today. I have finished a book this morning, so that can get listed. Mil has been talking a lot - I first heard her at 3. I did manage to sleep for another hour or so, but then got up. So tea and coffee are ready and waiting, got some spiced buns and oat cookies because I forgot to make / buy bread yesterday. As I had a very lazy day yesterday, I really need to do some housework. And OH is out this morning, so a good opportunity. Provided Mil doesn't call every 5 minutes. i am having my breakfast now. I'll let you know how I get on with the work

Morning - cold and frosty out there. Just hope my little car starts this morning as I have a hospital appointment at 9.15am - to have a hearing aid fitted of all things. Not sure I really need it, but will go through the motions.

My right ear feels as if there is a permanent water blockage like you get after swimming or a shower and hence my hearing is slightly impaired.

Good luck, Annie, with the car...................and I hope you find the hearing aid helpful. That would be so annoying to have your ear feel like that all the time.

Thanks for the goodies, meebo! Do you ever take pictures when you are in Germany? Would love to see some photos of places there. When I was there in Nov and again in Dec for my sister's memorial service, we went to a little German town just over the Belgium border....charming!

Keep on knitting, buttons. Why are your fingers blue........the yarn, or the cold? Frost all over here this morning. I fed the birds, and decided I wouldn't do it out back again till the decking is not slippery with frost and wetness.....fell once a month ago, and it took two weeks till I could stand up straight. Just my luck to fall again, whack my head, and hubby come home later in the day to find me like a popsicle.
