Good morning. We have snow! But I don't expect it will stay for long (sigh) Coffee and tea are waiting, it's just I got sidetracked admiring the white garden. Got some washing going and that might be all I am prepared to do. Our gardener was due to come today, though somehow I think she won't. I might just list the YDC items. At least they will be safe for a while

It's white over here, but not with snow! Hard frost again and my little car is going to take some defrosting as back to the day job today.

Paul is on his way back to Perth via Jakarta - he should be home by mid-afternoon UK time.

Sarge, I've replaced yesterday losses, and more, so my numbers haven't dropped any

    Have all a good day.

A sprinkle of snow here but it has already melted on the roads.

Oh dear I seemed to have acquired a
    bomb in d
isguise yesterday. It must have been when I was in the mess having a medicinal tipple to help me over the traumatic trip to the dentist and another newbie stumbled across eBid !

I wonder when HQ will be building the new barracks that they promised on the newsletter ?

lots of sleety snow here but its melting. Didnt get to sleep long last night as the dishwasher was on and the kitchen flooded. Don't know where the water was coming from, it was coming out from underneath it. Then I had a load of wet towels to wash but when I put the washing machine on it flooded too so it must be the pipes behind the machines and i'm not fit enough to pull them out myself.
In the end it was after 2 before I got to bed.
I had a run on knitting patterns - lost several but all to different people. I really need to try to get out today to post them, but my arm is still too sore to cycle so i'll have to get a taxi there and back

Hope your arm feels better soon, mael. It can't be economical to get a taxi to mail things, so hope you can run other errands while you are out. Too cold to cycle, anyway, I'd say!

Both last year and a couple weeks ago we had the same flooding from the dishwasher. First time some mouse must have gotten behind and chewed through....or so we thought. This year we could see that the hose had just gotten vertical slits in the plastic.....probably from vibrations.......but it's a big heavy job to pull out the machine and do all the fiddling that's required. Good thing OH has more muscle than I do. Such a pain. But I figure I should wash the kitchen floor at least once a year, whether it needs it or not!!
    Ta-Ta for now!
