Other half has still not gone out of the front door, I made the mistake of asking him to get a pastie for lunch and then the stupid questions started, what kind of pastie? me cornish.......but what kind of cornish.... Me how many kinds of cornish pastie are there............. but what make........me get a pete's or ginster........him oh you mean a steak slice...............me no a cornish pastie......... but what kind? i know I will get the wrong thing............Me just get me an egg butty. The rest of the conversation were i lost it is unprintable and ended with forget it, i will make a butty.

Hug and a kiss my watsit, he is the most obstinate awkward no all on the planet. We needed a 3mm x 29cm drive belt, I found some belting 3mm wide and a meter long, should I get this I says, no! i will find something so he comes up with a 31cm x 6mm belt, too big I says, we need a proper belt, well I can use a strong elastic, no you cant, I WANT A PROPER BELT, this has carried on all after noon and now after the PO has closed he says get that then. so I said it's finished you ******%$£((&^. you know how much it was ?.......... £1.25 including the postage but because it was my idea and he knows best...............
Well I have ordered it in fact i got 2 meters and spent a whole £2.50, because it was worth the other £1.25 for what I am going to do with the extra bit.

As a fellow sufferer of the OH that drives you mad, I sympathise.
I think I'm getting allergic to mine - I always get the worst stomach cramps when he isn't at work - I breathe a sigh of relief when he does go to work, at least I have peace instead of him pestering me all the time.
I have told him that he can never fully retire from his work - I would end up in a nut-house. Seriously.
He said he didn't want to fully retire ..... and it's only because I find him jobs to do when he's at home - which he conveniently 'forgets' if that four letter word w.o.r.k. is involved.
