Mornin' troops coughing and spluttering well here although the nose hasn't started yet so that's something. Hope I feel better by Friday as I've got to go to the barbers. My home hairdresser has had a baby so I'm forced to go out elsewhere in the cold. Lemsip for lunch methinks !

Well we went to do some shopping today infact was pleased Tesco's car park was very full so expected the store to be but in fact it was very quiet. Actually manage toget the bits I wanted & in the town so am worried even Tescos has a sign up about look for bargins on Black Friday. Several Christmas shops opened up.

Been a long day somehow - unfortunately not sleepy but still am glad it is over ...

Meeting ex-workmates for lunch tomorrow - we always do our Xmas Lunch early to avoid the office parties lol

Good morning! Haven't been to the canteen yet, but will go shortly. Maybe I should put LemSip on the menu alongside the tea and coffee!

Lemsip and a hot toddy would be good this morning Private Meebo. I might go back to bed once I have attended to the Old Soldier's shower and socks as my head is thumping and my throat is rasping.



Mind you I'm meant to have two missing parcels delivered today, one from Boots where the MyHermes tracking says it's been out with the courier four times and the other from the river where I was sent an email saying they couldn't find my address ?! You can bet as soon as I go to sleep the doorbell will ring !

Think you are right Annie about old we both feel it at the moment, for the last 3 nights nigel has been to bed between 7 or 8, & still feels tired in the morning, mind you I have been going to bed just after 9 & reading for short time. hope we will all feel more with it soon.

I only just woke up, I got up for a loo break at 7.30 was a bit chilly so got dressed and put my hat and socks on as well , lay back down to watch some telly and that was that. I am now sat wondering why am I here and can't see straight yet.

Glad you are doing your duty well Private Boi but be on your guard though. Those pesky blighters waited all week until they could see I was feeling under par and I've been hit twice this afternoon ! Stomps off to the mess in search of another hot toddy !

I got both missing parcels in the end. The couriers were hopeless, with the driver for the river parcel he phoned me and asked me to go out into the street to flag him down !!!
