Good morning! I slept late !(6 am) so have been busy catching up. The sky is blue in parts and it's not raining, which is just as well as our gardener should be spreading manure on the flower beds. I have a massage appointment at 2, so that will probably be the end of the day for me Doing the washing, and cleared the other half of the sitting/ living room/ lounge which included taking down the curtains. Back to work now. See you tomorrow (probably)

Oh, and the pictures are lovely, Annie. I think my OH has relatives in Perth

What sunshine Have been outside for a bit though to get some fresh air, dave the painter has cut tons more off next doors hedge so done a bit of clipping up of the twigs but I only did the small bits.
he has cut our side right back to what he found was a iron fence ( ours) in it and now he has cut it back it's dead on our side and you can see right through it, we will also have to go and clear next doors garden up. Will this hedge sprout again do you think or has he killed it, he has also cut it down by 50%+. anyway apart from being cold and a bit knackered the fresh air has possible done me good, there is still piles of it to cut up but the council want £100 to take it unless it is in their green bags.

But not for long ! Looks like I'm back just in time to shout at Private Cats and throw the potato peeler in her direction !

I had a lovely day in Coventry thank you Lieutenant Maplegin the ceremony went smoothly and the weather was nice apart from a light shower.

Do you remember Stephen Sutton the teenager that raised millions of pounds for his cancer charity before he died ? Well his mum was there and was awarded a posthumous degree for him which was very moving.

I'll stick on a couple of photos of the cadet.

Yes - must be 'cos Sarge is away lol - and no Buttons neither

Went food shopping. Not exactly sunny but mild so removed loads of earth from the front garden round to the back and started topping up the pots. Should be getting the fence started in a week or so (weather permitting) then the grass removed in the New Year so getting my lovely topsoil while I can

    Great photos Sarge -

good morning! Canteen duty done, Mil seems to be travelling again, so she'll tell me she is tired. Anyway a new day that will contain work in the sitting room - putting everything back where it belongs after dusting it. after that the day should be my own. I even have lunch ready! Duty calls (Mil) See you later

what a handsome lad your boy is sarge! Very wet and miserable here. Got soaked going to the docs so will leave going into town until tomorrow and just make bread instead.
Since i started using the free listings for the other side I do see why newbies complain. My handmade cards which have barely budged since i started are flying off the shelves. On the other hand this months fees were £47. Its the fees on the postage that annoy me so much. I dont see how they can charge fees on a service they dont provide. I am charging about 20% more for my cards over there but i have put an ebid flyer in with each package so hopefully some will come have a look.
Done 30 odd relists. Lost none. Hope you are all well. I'm off back to bed

Ooooh has MIL been anywhere nice on her travels Private Meebo ? I don't know about her being tired but I feel exhausted after yesterday. I think it is all the hanging about waiting for things to happen that makes you feel tired.

It is frustrating about the other side Private Wicca, let's hope your eBid flyers do the trick - only for our recruitment numbers mind you as we have to uphold our glorious eBid army motto that 'Nothing every sells on an alternative site' !

Right I had better go and do some food shopping as my brother might turn up any day now to have a break from sorting out his dad's house. I have been good and caught up with my relisting.
