Good morning! I hope the day will turn out a good one. Didn't make the trip yesterday, so will try later this morning as I have to visit the chemist anyway. Penni, I hope you have recovered from your fright and buttons, may you continue to improve. I finished one piece of knitting yesterday evening which will today be photographed and listed for the YDC. I also need to try out a sewing machine that came back from being serviced just to make sure all is well. And then there are a few other unfinished projects lurking. I feel I want to try and finish them before the year is over. Is that a good plan? I am off to the canteen now. I need some liquid refreshment

Tomorrow is our Ruby Wedding Anniversary so we are planning on going to Penguin Island for a Champagne picnic - if we get organised in time........................

The dinner party went well but, oh dear, a newbie managed to sneak in while I was entertaining my guests. I suppose I shouldn't have been complacent about the ceasefire !

My grand-nephew was born at 10.59 this morning weighing 8lb 1oz. Since my neice is under 5 foot and a size 6 that is a huge baby for her. Both mum and baby doing well.
