Thread: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

Washed a load of towels this morning - tumbled them though or they might have ended up in Meebs' back green!!!! Between yesterday and today got all the shopping done, posted stuff, collected prescriptions and am pretty organised even although I say it myself .. now wondering what I have forgotten .

Hoping to spend part of the weekend in the front garden moving some plants I want to keep round the back into tubs for the winter. Have at long last decided that the front grass has to go - and the two remaining beds. So the fencer will be coming in three weeks time - I will have a fence for Xmas.

Then, weather dependant in Jan Feb or Mar the grass is going, membrane down and pea-gravel for little and big cats tootsies. The back was walled and paved 5 or more years ago. I am finding it too much work - pots and tubs are so much easier to deal with these days - I can still bend, it is the getting up again!!!

So stew, carrots, sprouts and mash for tea then some telly and bed with a book. Hope the weather is okay - as long as the rain holds off I will get some bits done I hope .

Morning - it's lovely and sunny here - again - and the washing should soon be dry

Little man has a cold and I think Grandad & I have also got it - but nothing major.

Good morning! Hope all is well where you are! We are having a temporary lodger arrive today. She will be in daughters 'flatlet' and depending when she leaves they may have to share for a little while. I can't wait till Wednesday, as Mil will be 101 on Tuesday and she is driving me mad with her plans. She thinks she'll get loads of visitors, but if last year is anything to go by she will be disappointed. Enough moaning. I need to have a look for some gold knitting yarn so I can finish a YDC entry. I came across some a few days ago, I just need to remember where Off to the canteen now. I need a pot of tea and will make coffee while waiting for the kettle to boil

Almost a year already Meebs? Not been a good year for quite a few on here so hope the next one is better for all of us.

The sun is shining and the garden awaits - there is even a routine garden upload due on Monday so no excuse - maybe just another coffee first....

glad MIL has made it through as you thought she wouldn't. I'm sure all of us in the forums will have her in their thoughts on her birthday. Does she get another letter from the queen?

Mornin' troops. I'm sure it's all down to your good nursing care Private Meebo that MIL has got this far, so very well done to you for your valiant efforts, I know it is very hard and stressful work for you so I salute you ! Lol it makes the Old Soldier and the Old Sailor look like spring chickens !

Had a good night out thank you Lieutenant Maplegin. We went to a Caribbean place first for a drink then went to eat at a Tai tapas place and the food was lovely. I had a medium hot cashew nut, smoked chillies and tofu stir fry with egg fried rice and it was delicious.
