Erm, I was just coming in to report how Private Cheaver and myself bravely battled the Welsh ... but I might change my mind now and just report how bravely I battled them. (as someone's telling tales ! )

I finally lost one after a 2 month drought. It is even paid for already.

Spent the day catching up on the books from the weekend. Not fun. I am a much better cook and bottle washer.
Now to catch up on all the gossip. You all seem to have filled several pages since my last post.

Good morning! All is quiet - even Mil, but that isn't surprising as we gave her a little blue pill last night to knock er out. She was getting frightened but the things she saw, so it was time to act. Carer has been and Mil didn't blink just slept through it all. Holiday notice is up, so all is safe. And I have made tea and coffee and put stew ingredients into the slow cooker. Clive has to get up soon as he has an airport run

Hi everyone....sunny and breezy here. Would hang out washing, but washing machine is making a horrible rattleclank, so OH is going to look at it later tonight.
