Am pleased to report that have just done all of our relists, as forgot this morning, & am pleased to say somer appears to have finished his paper work so there is hope that life will get back to normal Though don't know what that is ! He has just filled the tax form in so can send that off now another thing done & dusted.

I have finished the ironing!!! now all I have to do is find some kind soul to carry the over full basket with nicely folded clothes and table linen upstairs. OH had an appointment in London this afternoon, so if I can't bear the sight of the basket till he comes home I will have to move it myself.. On reflection I will admire it

My son just phoned me to tell me that Eric has died. The pic is of Merlin and Eric...both died as a result of a genetic disorder.

Merlin died 2 years ago and Eric this afternoon

Eric is the bigger cat in the pic but both cats were from the same litter.

Awww. Sorry for your loss. I find that losing a beloved pet hurts as bad as any other family member

My son wrote this message on Facebook tonight

"As many of you will know, Merlin, pictured here on the left died about two years ago now. He was my wonderful little wizard cat, and was as odd, if not more so than I. No small feat for such a little fella.
He was survived by his brother Eric, pictured on the right.
I saw both of them being born, was there when Merlin passed away, and for the past four years have had many moments of love and joy on account of Eric and his soppy nature. The way he'd reach up and knock the front door to let us know he wanted to be let in, was always funny, if not shocking to those visiting and experiencing it for the fist time.
He was always a little distant with those he didn't know, but when he got to know people, he was the soppiest little snuggle monster one could ever hope to know.
Sadly Eric passed away this evening.
I was not there to be there for him when he went like I was for his brother, but from his appearance, I believe he did pass whilst sleeping.
Both Merlin and eric had a genetic defect passed on from their mother. Sookie their mum dided due to it, as did Merlin, and seeing how Eric was a few days leading up to today, I believe Eric met the same ate as his brother and mother.
Those of you that knew eric may like to leave a comment. Of course he won't know anything about it, but both Sarah Camburn and I are somewhat more than sad at his passing, so it would be nice to see a post or two from those that loved the smashing little guy."

Awwww, Sunny - **hugs** from me - I hate losing pets.

Current said pet nearly got kicked out this morning! She normally goes outside 1st thing when David gets up, but as it was chucking down, she came straight back upstairs to me and then was dancing around until I got up and went downstairs and let her out - daft dog

Must practice putting on my flight stockings today, shorten a pair of soft fabric trousers and sort out instructions for Dad's carers for while we're away. Think that's enough for now - but first another mug of tea.
