My painter has just been on a flying visit and put some silver stuff on the front fence, looks nice even like that, Mike is making surrounds for the light switches so the new tops will fit better and I am walking around aimlessly surveying my pala..........sorry meant half finished dump

Ah, there are so many reasons to go on, I have been thinking about them all day.

One is that you wont have any problems selling to the other countries in the UK, so no export or import tax to worry about. If you made bread in the future you wouldn't have to worry about any restrictions in sending food 'abroad'

Another one is the YDC next week and I have been busying all day looking for things to list, so that I can help to cheer you up.

Its not an ideal situation, I would have much preferred a Yes but maybe this is just the end of the beginning.

Thanks folks. I just get these "black days" when I'm feeling particularly low. Having a stinking cold and being too hot one minute and too cold the next doesnt help.
Had some proper food today (if pizza counts as proper food) after my junk fest yesterday.
Been rephotographing all the items that were on the sd card that died before i could upload the photos.
Pete managed to get out to the shops for bread and milk. They have been digging up the pavements and blocking the lowered bits and his electric wheelchair wont do kerbs.
Am ready i think, for the ydc.

I have a feathery duster on a long pole for the ceiling monsters ... sweep it up gently then just slowly head towards the door or window and out it goes...hopefully.

If it goes missing I sit with my legs underneath me and wait for it to appear ... or close the door and run away....

Love the pic, Linda!! Ha! Spiders don't bother me much....live and let live. Unless they are black widows, or some other leathal type....then all bets are off and the Raid is out.

Only was bitten once.....it was here in the UK, by something big and bulbous and dark that had gotten into my bathrobe one night before I did.

Good morning! I do hope that the blackness has gone today and with the new day a little optimism has crept in. I was allowed to sleep a little longer today and I did! But have been to the canteen and got everything ready. Now just waiting for the carer. I think she had a night out. Nothing is stirring, so I keep nice and quiet. I found a little knitting kit yesterday which I thought I had made up already, so decided to knit it for the YDC. It should be finished later today, so it then can be listed. I can't believe that it (the YDC) is only 4 days away. Now for a little tea while there is time

Morning - **BIG** yawn - just remind me not to work Fridays again - I'm shattered.

So, hopefully, a quiet day pottering about checking travel lists ....................

But first another mug of tea
