Have you got any soaps with Glycerine? Horsey girls' hands tend to get a bit hammered & chapped.....I may be able to shift a few soaps with the Christmas market being just around the corner iykwim xx

Good morning! Been up for ages and busy making sure OH left the house on time. Had to take our truck to Swindon to have some work done on it and if all goes well, he'll be back before the rush hour starts this afternoon. I will really try and clear up some of the small sewing projects. That alone will give me space in my room. But another cup of tea might help me along. Coffee is also brewed. See you later

Morning - thick fog/mist here along the River Severn but it's beginning to lift.

Back to the day job later after a week off - feels very strange

But first another mug of tea

We have a painter who at the moment is sanding the rust off the iron work, The front door is wide open so it's darn cold in here, apart from that I have a calf muscle that is not doing what it's told, so food first and then a pill I think.

Pete's Chromebook turned up today...he thinks he bought it for himself but I have other ideas.

Just played with the settings and it is now working just the way I like it...lol

I went off for a little nap at 3pm yesterday and woke up at 6am today....feel buzzing now but can't do any noisy cleaning because Pete has nodded off on the sofa

Will have to faff around on here and facebook instead, I suppose...

    Vonz Pm'd you

At the hospital yesterday they told me that I should give up knitting and hand sewing. I have so much wool and 5 half done projects and a baby due (to my niece) in October.
anyone need about 10,000g of yarn?
I have to be on a 100 day course of anti-biotics as i have swelling between my L4 and L5 area. It is not a slipped disc but it is bulging due to infection. That'll explain a lot of my back pain. I also have fibromyalgia and mild arthritis in my hands, feet and elbows.
Just put me down i think.
They are sending me to pain management and to physio so hopefully I might get some relief soon.

I'd love a new chromebook! they are now not returning my lappy till friday and I am going away for the weekend so I wont even be here.

Went shopping in Aberdeen yesterday after the hospital and I remembered why I dont do it often. Just can't cope with the crowds. After 20 minutes I went and sat in a cafe with a hot chocolate and a danish and let my SIL and niece wander till their hearts were content. Hate wandering about the shops these days. Thank goodness for the internet.
