Morning - so much for a lie-in - twisted my knee again last night in my sleep and it's feeling quite sore. Had to find my pills ..............

Now sat watching 2 Magpies having a conversation whilst they're sitting on top of street light - quite comical.

Heavy mist again so hopefully will be sunny later on for when our visitors arrive.

Latest picture of my grandson, Oliver

Thats my listings now over 3500. I listed for most of the evening yesterday and still have a few on my other account. Did lose 1 from Wicca but have more than replaced it.
Am cold this morning and it is very very dull outside. Even the dog is hiding under her cover.

Try using Lavender Oil for mozzie bites - works for me

Well the weather for the street party was kind apart from one shower late afternoon time. A bit of a disappointing turn out though. There were lots of families with little children but a lot of the older residents who usually come seemed to either be away on holiday or didn't show up which was a pity. All the children enjoyed O/H's water rockets they went really high !
I managed to get the old Soldier down the very steep hill and back up very slowly ! He enjoyed the outing.

Still all quiet on the Western front.

Looks like a good time was had by all, old soldier looks happy bless him.
Errrrrrrr just lost one sarge whilst I was cutting my nails, was beginning to look like Edward scissor hands, any way managed one hand so far now to attack the awkward one.
Washing all done and out drying and a plate full of scones made for a cream tea when Mike gets back with the cream. not bad for someone with a blistered hand now going to Name: little%20knitter.gif

good night all. I have the hospital tomorrow and although my appointment is not till 2pm I have to leave at 10am or the 3 buses won't get me there on time. Won't be back till after tea time so be good tomorrow all of you.

Good you got the weather Becky as it has been very dull and overcast all day here.

My laptop is now repaired and is supposed to be delivered tomorrow but Pete had a bad day today so could be asleep most of tomorrow. I miss it. Although this one is technically better, mine has all my programs and files and stuff and trying to work without them with programs you don't know is hard.

Probably shouldnt say on here but I sold my first ravelry pattern! Yipee.

Finally gave up on my laptop as it has finally died. I am now using an ancient but faithful lappy that was Pete's for years.

We HAD a tablet which I broke within a week so ended up replacing the cost to Pete but he has had no internet access except via his android

I must be a bad influence because he has gone and bought himself a refurbished chromebook and left my replacement lappy until we are rich...lol

Good morning! Dark outside, but I can't hear rain so there is hope for my basket full of wet washing.. I think I have just about caught up as far as the laundry is concerned. Must go to the PO this morning to send off what was grabbed last week. The exercise will do me good. after that I will need to make room for a clothes rail in my room. We bought it for the visitors use and I decided it would be good to hang the items that are in my shop rather than have them in a box. so fingers crossed....
I made tea and coffee and remembered to defrost some bread. Time to check out what I have left in my bank account. Not a lot, I fear
