OK I have taken photos yesterday, so now I can share my 'makes' from the workshops on Thursday. It had a bit of a Japanese theme to it
This was interesting: the died red thing is actually a silk cocoon. It really is surprising how tough they are. So we cut them into sort of flowers and given time and practice they can be turned into jewellery
The same workshop and another flower. The fabric used on this is a scrap left from a Kimono. The little red dots are HAND embroidered!
staying with the Japanese this is a Kumihimo braided bracelet. I did this workshop before, but as it was a smaller group the instructor could cover some variations
This was my favourite. I really had to grip my credit card in order not to buy more equipment, though OH has a soldering iron and solder. But I convinced myself that I haven't got the time for another hobby
Not sure why I have one photo twice. Trying to edit it only shows once.
I feel quite proud of myself - I have 3 YDC listings up
