The weather forecast was for frost last night. I'm not sure if we got any though. Hopefully not as there are a lot of tomatoes left to ripen and we didn't think to cover them up.

...a few weeks ago I planted more eating peas (cos I had eaten all the ones I had planted in March April and May) .. they were marked as Early Variety - but they are lovely - just goes to show

A late good morning. Visitors have been deposited at Heathrow and we have a tentative arrangement to visit next spring. it'll be nice if it comes off. I did leave tea and coffee in the kitchen and there is toast/ marmalade and different cereals. So help yourself.
I did loose one over night, now all I have to do is find it! (I only saw it a few days ago)

No sun here...........just a gray, misty kinda day. Picked some blackberries yesterday, enough for one little cupful of jam. mmmm I need enough to fill my freezer! Do so love it.

Have been sewing up the hats I've knitted for Age Concern....want to get them done and mailed off this month.

Have been able to devote all my time to worthy projects like that and house repairs and laundry and cooking, as my defenses are strong. (Take note, meebo and sarge). Who's royally magnificent that way? Why.....that would be ME!

Morning - moving around very slowly today but easing up gradually after taking various pills.

Think we're OK for tomorrow so can relax today and maybe start looking out things for YDC125 Just realised I won't be around for October and if I do November, will have to list before we depart for Oz !

Well I hope it doesn't rain as it is the street party today. It got cancelled a few weeks ago because the heavens opened that day. O/H will be doing his water rockets again for the kids in the street and blowing up everything with fireworks later this evening. I think they have got someone doing a samba drumming workshop again this year so might wonder down for that later as it was quite good fun last time although ended up with very sore hands !
