PMSL ... well spotted Private Asterix. It shows you are alert today at least !
I've heard of trying to sell your own mother but not trying to sell your Sergeant Major !!!
    I've just had a
bomb in disguise planted in my store from Brazil so it will be interesting to see if it will go off or not ?! They must have sneaked in when I was taking the Old Soldier to the doctors.

Well, that's the mounted division moved into new barracks.....

They didn't move far....less than half a mile...but it was done with military precision lol
It was quite a sight to see, 3 thoroughbreds all suited, booted & hi viz'd to kingdom come being walked along the road.
Of course there were a couple of pillocks driving too fast & too close but it was made up by a lovely wagon driver (coming in the opposite direction) who stopped and held all the traffic back so the horses didn't spook.
One lady even complimented from an open window as she went past....."i've never seen such good looking horses, all together walking down the road".

So a very successful end to a very long day (and I forgot to take a camera).

Nothing listed, nothing losted....and i'm ready for my pj's!

    good morning
Canteen duty is done. I found some rolls in the freezer, so they are now defrosted and waiting to be warmed. But some people have to get up first. Nothing lost, but a payment came through from a sale days ago (might have been a couple of weeks) i almost reported him as a non paying buyer yesterday, but decided to leave it for another day. The trouble is now the addresses don't match! I just checked his previous payment and it was from the address paypal doesn't have any more. So more waiting. Right, I need my tea and if OH is still sleeping when I have had that, I will hoover the hall and start polishing. That should get him up (insert evil grin)

Well, OH got up in time, so I didn't have to wake him. Polishing is accomplished. When I have had a little rest I will attack the cooker (with a cleaning cloth)

Very dull here with light sprinklings of rain, been trying to take pictures but have given up as they are coming out terrible.
Has anyone got any of these or similar in a very small size, the only ones I have been able to get are 18mm and they are too big, I do know they make smaller ones but can't find them anywhere, I think I need about 12mm. If anyone sees and when rooting about can you let me know please, they are for My Christmas cardigans.

Afternoon - been catching up with online banking and paying bills and collecting prescriptions and picking up a pile of books [waiting to be listed] that fell over during the night !

It's now gently raining so I won't have to water the flower beds tonight and OH is on a late finish so plenty of time [I hope] to get these books listed and back in their box

My nephew is getting married next January - and we had the wedding invitation yesterday!

Time for another mug of tea, methinks .................
