I used to use eBid quite a lot selling my old DVDs but a house move meant I had no time to sell anymore.  I haven't had an opportunity to come back until now.  I'm trying out the site again to see if it's worthwhile selling my creations.  Everything is 100% handcrafted by myself.  Each piece is unique as I make each piece slightly different to the last.  Each piece is cut from log form, dried over months and then finished in my workshop. It's quite a long process with each piece taking up to an hours work from beginning to end.

I like to use native Irish fallen wood like Ash, Beech and other Hardwoods and it is important to me that a tree is not sacrificed just for commercial reasons. While I'm Turning, I prefer not to do too much replication work as I like to let the wood guide my hand and reveal unique designs. I make a range of different products like Salad Bowls, Platters, Hollow Form Vessels, Egg Cups, Christmas Decorations, Pens and I try to keep adding to my skills as I go along.
