With an avid interest in computers and a strong background in Hospitality and Customer Service Online Sales are a natural setting for us! I got one of those 5 minute "Management Restructuring" decisions after 33 years with a local newspaper and was forced to decide whether to relocate or change careers and I decided to go into sales on my own. I had been selling online for a while part time and decided to go full time and devote all my attention to sales and service. 7 years, 9000+ customers and a lot of buying stock later, we're still here and plan to be for a long time. If the paper did nothing else for me it made me just crazy enough to enjoy what I'm doing and you'll see that when you do business with us.
Kay and I decided our items needed a home of their own that offered everything right up front and provided our loyal customers a secure shopping site with a better level of service and more convenient and affordable shopping, so here we are. We're home based with a large inventory and no storefront and we only deal with suppliers than can meet our standards and offer quality products. While the big stores have professional buyers, we have Kay and I and some wonderful sales reps and we try to stay up to date and current on styles and designs.
I know from a competitive atmosphere that there are lots of OnLine Merchants and We're a small fish in a big pond. So what can a person do to build a business? My thoughts are that in order to succeed you have to be better than the next guy. There aren't many unique products anymore, but there is unique service! And that's what you'll find when you do business with us....personal service, communication, and a desire to have happy customers that come back when they're looking for something else.
