Over several years of  wondering why people don't appreciate the beauty of old boxes and trunks, and just neglect them till they are almost falling apart, we have developed a passion for restoring them to their former glory. When they are too 'far gone', or have no use in today's world, e.g. cutlery boxes, we refurbish their interiors so that they have a new use in our lives.
We use traditional methods and materials in our restoration, and the finest Italian lining papers.

The pleasure one gets from seeing an old faded wooden box restored to a gleaming fine object is beyond words.
Sometimes the box, or trunk, is beyond restoration - but it is still a lovely thing in it's own right so we use decoupage to give it a new lease of life. We also convert a limited number of used French wine boxes to something useful.

In our search for boxes we often come across other vintage and collectable items, which we will list on here as well.

We always try to use 'Collect Plus' for our deliveries. All our products are very well packaged, in recycled materials whenever possible. Our postal costs are never over-priced, and we only make a minimal charge to cover packing materials etc.
