All about us…
Our main aim with eBay and eBid is to de-clutter our house by selling off outgrown and unwanted items. We are not a business and try to treat our customers in the same honest and efficient way that we like to be treated when we buy things.
Our house is a smoke-free home. We are not pet free and have a cat.
Postage and Packing
Our postage price covers both the postage cost plus an allowance for packing materials such as parcel tape, paper, sellotape, labels and so on. Therefore, the postage price on the package may differ from the P&P amount quoted in the listing. Please bear this in mind when rating postage costs.
We post by MyHermes or Royal Mail second-class post unless we specify more postage options on the listing. I try to post small items within a couple of working days but this is not always possible due to work commitments. If you need something more urgently, please contact me. We get a Certificate of Posting for all posted items.
Collection
We are happy for people to collect items from us. We will accept cash on collection by prior agreement. We have had some problems with timewasters in the past so if you are collecting the item from us please contact me within 3 working days of the auction completion to arrange collection. You must collect the item within 10 working days of the auction completion, otherwise we will relist the item and refund any payment made.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me first to discuss. We try to describe items accurately/honestly and wrap them carefully to avoid damage in the post. If you decide on a refund, you must return the item within seven calendar days. We will refund the original item price on receipt of returned items. Please ensure you get a certificate of posting to prove you sent the item so that you can prove you returned the item in case of any problems.
