Hello Ebidders one and all!
I thought i had better put a few words together to let you know about thesomertontroll. I started out selling at Carboots in the mid 1990's to try and recoup some of the money my wife and i had spent on the kids over the years. After a few years the 'getting up early' each Sunday was wearing a 'bit thin' so i decided to try Ebay. At first this was a great place to trade and i would have 2 or 3 really good sales each year. But as Ebay grew so did their greed and desire to leave small traders behind to chase after the shop owners and to try and challenge Amazon for online supremacy.
I decided to have a look at Ebay alternatives and Ebid rose to the top. I joined last year but have not had the time to start selling. I am most interested in Trade Cards and Confectionery cards such as A&BC, Anglo and Topps. I sell a lot of 2nd hand books as my wife and daughter are avid bookworms and i like to sell toys, games and warhammer figure/spares.
I hope i manage to sell and buy things through Ebid and i wish all fellow Ebidders the best of luck with whatever you sell. Kind regards,
