Some Information About moonlightbaysns

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Life's little luxuries can mean the difference between a good day and a bad day.  Who wants dry, itchy skin or scalp when you can have soft skin, healthy hair and that oh so good feeling of being and looking your best.  You know and the world knows when you are your best!  Pamper yourself.  It will make a difference in the world around you.

Working in the medical field, I have seen many allergies to commercial type soaps, shampoos and lotions.  These allergies can spring up quickly and take a long time to resolve. I have also been afflicted at one time or another with an allergic reaction to commercial soaps and such.  Not fun going to work with your skin looking and feeling like red, rough sandpaper!

Therefore, I have come to love lotions with minimal or no preservatives or manmade chemicals. The same goes for soaps.  Natural emollients, skin softening glycerin, natural preservatives, botanicals and herbs are things that I look for in my skin care needs.  I encourage all of you to check the ingredients in your skin care products.

I have made all types of soap, including cold process (a lye based soap), hot process (a lye based soap), rebatch (a M&P soap) and an all Vegetable glycerin base soap.  I prefer the vegetable glycerin base soap as it is the most gentle on the skin, in my opinion.

The lye based soapmaking is dangerous.  The soapmaker is dealing with a chemical that can cause serious burns, some that may require hospitalization and skin grafts, if not properly handled.  And if not properly cured can cause serious skin damage to the user of the finished product.  Safety is of utmost concern to me (the soapmaker) and should be to you (the user of soap products).
