Some Information About Patrician36
I am a refugee from Ebay. Having dealt by cheque for 7 years, buying and selling, without a single problem, I was furious that they made it compulsory to have PayPal. On everyone's auctions that now has to come as first preference. Ebay has bought up Paypal so, with a captive audience, it is easy to make an extra 3 to 4% on top of all the other fees. Had they made it optional, fair enough, but compulsion is quite another matter. I wrote and told them that and also that I will not sell on their auction site any more. Thank heaven for Ebid!
As for me, I am retired and my hobbies are computing, reading, cooking and gardening. I also enjoy crosswords and codewords and do one of each daily on the computer.
I am really looking forward to trading and have loads of things to auction.
