MY TERMS
I try to adopt a very simple trading policy on my auctions. I treat people in the friendly and understanding way that I would like to be treated myself. The vast majority of people who trade on line are honest and friendly people who it is a pleasure to trade with, either as a buyer or a seller. 

To make life easier all round and hopefully to avoid confusion, here are my main terms of trade as a seller:  

Shipping Information: Within the UK only, all items that are sent by letter post (almost everything I have for auction) will have a Proof of Posting obtained, with higher value items carrying separate tracking/insurance. The cost of this will be included in any P & P fees that are quoted in the auction page. I try to always state a fixed price for P & P in my auctions, so that bidders aren’t troubled with the need to ask and aren’t faced with any surprises later. I keep all of my postage and packing costs as low as possible. 

Rates to addresses outside of the UK will be quoted individually. If you have any enquiry or concerns about international shipping costs, please enquire before bidding. My goal is to get the item to you at the most reasonable rate, in the condition described. And yes, I am always willing to combine winning items for the most advantageous shipping price for you. Shipping rates quoted provide for proper packaging of your item. 

Payment: I accept cash, postal orders and personal cheques from UK bidders.

From international bidders I accept cashiers/personal checks and money orders payable in US dollars or Pounds Sterling on a US or UK bank. Cash (US dollars or UK Pounds) is accepted, but I don't recommend sending cash through the mail. At the present time I do not accept any online payment services. 

Automated Checkout: No, I don't use that at present. I am not some big operation that needs to automate you! But don't worry; I notify you when you have won, and give you full details of the next steps.  The personal touch.  It works beautifully.  (If for any reason my email doesn't reach you within three business days, please contact me through the auction mail service.) 

Terms: I adhere to the rules!  I contact you, and you me - within the time frame indicated.  You send the payment.  I send the item.  It's not rocket science, right? Normally, I should be in contact within three days after the end of your auction. Your payment should arrive with me no later than 14 days after the end of your auction. Since we are all adults here, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect you to let me know if you have any problem that will interfere with this scenario.  I do use Non-Paying Bidders facility to reclaim any fees and have a warning for other users issued, I believe that is fair to everyone, including other sellers.

Your Satisfaction: I want you to be as happy with your item as I was to sell it to you. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me.  And if you have any post-auction problem, please let me know promptly so that we can work together to solve it.  If you're not satisfied, I’m not satisfied!
