Some Information About wacathook
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
A Little Introduction
I/we are planning a move in about six months and I am trying to clean out the house to lighten the load. I am afraid, we are terrible packrats so we have accumulated quite a bit – especially since we are great collectors. We have spent many an hour antiquing, junking, and yardsaling. The plan is to sell the easily shippable items online. Yea, “shippable” is a word.

I am starting with my books. That is what you should see for sale mostly. Up to this point, I have sold for a couple of weeks on eBay; I was not overly impressed. I am now selling on eBid, so as to compare the two.
Payments
If you are bidding or purchasing one item, payment is expected within one calendar day of the purchase.
If you are bidding on more than one item in a week, payment is expected within one calendar day of the combined shipping invoice.
Yes, I definitely combine shipping. You can combine all purchases/wins together for one calendar week and save quite a bit that way. Your week will begin on the day of your first win; you should have already placed bids on the other interested items. (This is how it works - if you first win something on a Wednesday, then your buying week will end on a Tuesday.) Simply email me after your first win. I will email you an invoice with all your purchases at the end of your week with the combined shipping and handling included. It’s that simple.
Shipping and Handling
I ship the most cost effective way possible for my customer - sometimes that is media mail and sometimes it is first class. I do not make money on postage.
I ship within one business day of being paid -
o If I am paid on a Monday, I will ship on Tuesday.
o If I am paid on Tuesday, I will ship on Wednesday.
o If I am paid on Wednesday, I will ship on Thursday.
o If I am paid on Thursday, I will ship on Friday.
o If I am paid on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I will ship on Monday. If Monday is a postal holiday, then I will ship on Tuesday.
“Being paid” with a check means waiting for it to clear. I will notify you when I have received it and when it is has cleared. This normally takes four business days.
I ship to anywhere in the United States of America and to the APO’s and FPO’s.
Allergies
Since these items have been around for quite some time, I can only assume that they probably have been exposed to smoke and pets. That is especially true, because in many cases we were not the original owners.
Contact
If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
Return Policy
“The Fine Print”
I try to be brutally honest with my pictures and my “what’s it like” explanation. If you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason, it is okay to return it. In order to be reimbursed, the item must be returned in the same condition that it was mailed.
Four Calendar Days
You will be reimbursed for the original cost of the item and all of your original shipping and handling charges if the return is made within four days of being received; you will not be reimbursed for the shipping or postage that you have paid to return the item. That way if you receive it on a Friday and it is not what you want, you still have the chance to return it on a Tuesday if Monday is a holiday, it must be postmarked for Tuesday or earlier.
I have never had anything returned. But I wanted to offer a return policy just in case anyone was interested.
Thanx
Thank you for peeking. I do appreciate the time you have taken to browse. Feel free to come back anytime.
By the way…
If you are wondering about my EBid name “wacathook”. The first part is a reference to my military time, as I am an ol’ WAC that served in the regular army from 1971 to 1979. The second part is a reference to my love of crochet.
