I run a home-based business called The Notion Shop , which specializes in finding the hard-to-find sewing, quilting and embroidery notions most stores don't carry on a regular basis.
The Notion Shop is also home to CanadianTartans.com and The Quilter's Corner .
CanadianTartans.com offers cotton, cotton/synthetic and synthetic-blend tartan fabrics and trims, particularly those of Canada and the Canadian provinces. You will also find some other well-known tartans such as Royal Stewart, MacBeth and Black Watch.
The Quilter's Corner carries quilting supplies and fabrics, particularly extra-wide cotton quilt backings in two widths and various styles.
In my previous lifetimes I have been a writer, copy editor, proofreader, advertising sales manager, marketing manager, and marketing consultant.
We live in a fantastic city in a beautiful province in a great country. We journey to the foothills and the Canadian Rockies as often as possible, and can't imagine living anywhere that is not within easy reach of such majestic scenes. Mind you, we also own a patio home condo in Palm Springs, California, which offers us incredible views of San Jacinto mountain. We vacation there in the winter and offer it for rent when we are not using it.
I have been sewing, quilting, embroidering, crocheting and cross stitching for 43 years now. I started at the age of 12 (you can do the math; I won't be offended).

SHIPPING GOALS
I try to ship within 24 hours of cleared payment. I use Canada Post and provide you with as much detail on expected delivery as possible. Of course, once it is in Canada Post's hands, delivery is out of my control, but I've had very good results over the years.

I have been selling online for several years now and am extending my efforts to include eBid. I have had excellent feedback on eBay and also maintain a store, CanadianTartans.com

You can shop with confidence! Any purchase may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full money-back refund. I have yet to have one item returned.
