I am Bill Jones, a former national park ranger, naturalist, and park planner--now a ski instructor (about 40 years) and book publisher/distributor of VistaBooks (over 46 years) with an interest in the outdoors: nature, fishing, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, and skiing (I give extensive ski tips on the web at SkiMyBest.) I have also been a royalty author and writer for magazines. My listings reflect these interests, plus items I have owned  that I no longer need. I strive to describe items I list accurately and completely but know from my own shopping experience I may overlook an aspect important to you, so if I have not answered your question hope you will ask me for more information.

Besides outdoor gear, household items and some computer-related equipment, I will be listing several thousand books in new, used, and collectible categories with subjects such as Western Americana, national parks, native Americans, geology, regional guides, cooking, maritime, geology and rockhounding, hunting, trees and wildflowers, wildlife, children's, conservation and environment, crafts, and more.  

Unless noted othewise, shipping will be calculated from U.S. zip code 80498 to buyer's U.S. zip code and be paid by buyer. Shipping is provided only within U.S. Shipped items will be wrapped carefully and sent the best way (you can specify), either FedEx or US Postal Service. Expedited service is not available (it requires a long drive from my rural home to get to the shipping point) and I only sell and ship to U.S. addresses--from my Colorado address. Seperte orders to the same address can be combined, I normally ship within a few days to a week, but sometimes when I am away on a trip (once or twice a year), I may need around two weeks or a bit more. If you need your item sooner, email via ebid and I will accommodate if I can or let you know what to expect.. 

Rarely is there a problem with an order I ship, but if there is let me know and I will fix it. Many items I list carry a no-hassle return (buyer pays shipping ) guarantee of 7 days or more,

On larger orders or from known buyers, payment on net-30 day term after invociing and shipment may be requested if credit information is available; if term is granted a statement will be sent when due.
