Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
I have collected British Colonial stamps for more years than I care to remember! I specialise in King George VI and my main interest is the Union Period of South Africa (all those little ships and springboks!). I often buy collections for just a few stamps and sell the others. I have many years' worth of superfluous stock! I have been using another on-line Auction for over 8 years and have just recently started using eBid.
SHIPPING: The rates shown are basics which normally cover the first weight steps. I am always happy to combine lots bought at the same time and charge for a single postage rate. This may vary if a combination of items pushes the weight up - so PLEASE ALWAYS WAIT TO BE INVOICED, just in case.
I pack very securely with a clear return address on the reverse of all envelopes. Proof of Posting is always obtained for every item sent with a value of less than £30 - items with a value (singly or combined) of £30 or more will be sent by Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery (UK) or International Signed For (non-UK) and the relevant rates charged by Royal Mail will be added to invoices. Regrettably, I cannot be held responsible for loss in the post of any item sent by standard inland or Airmail post. I will gladly send by a "Signed For" method instead, if requested to do so. All "Signed For" methods are fully covered against possible loss. .
