I have been selling collectables online for several years and take my relationships with my buyers very seriously indeed. I always do my best to describe items honestly, accurately, and sincerely. If, however, I am found to be at fault in this respect I am prepared to refund payment in full provided the item is returned to me within 7 days. I pack all items very carefully and cannot therefore be held responsible for mishandling by the Post Office, Royal Mail or other carriers.
Although I am now past the generally recognized retirement age I still work two or three days a week with a local firm of solicitors. I also devote many hours working voluntarily with my local Lions Club which my husband and I established in the year 2000. The Club holds two meetings a month, one devoted to business, plans, etc and the other purely social when we can enjoy time together other than fund-raising and serving the community.
Though I have been living among the beautiful hills and sheep farmlands of Shropshire since 1998 I am in fact a Londoner. During my full-time working life I spent eighteen years in India, several months in Japan, and odd spells in the States, Belgium and the Netherlands. I am just like the wanderer who spent many years travelling abroad in search of mushrooms, only to find them growing in his own back garden!
Would international buyers please note when bidding that I only accept payment by Paypal, or in £sterling sent by registered mail at the buyer's own risk.In the case of UK bidders I accept payment by Paypal, or personal cheque/postal order made payable to P A Morris.If payment is not received within 5 days I reserve the right to re-list the item but only after a polite reminder!
Items are despatched by Royal Mail/Parcel Force promptly on receipt of payment or clearance of cheques.
Postage and packaging for UK buyers is included in the listing, and for worldwide buyers is calculated at the end of the auction.
I regularly list a wide variety of items for sale and I do my best to describe them sincerely - bearing in mind that I am no expert in any field! I always welcome suggestions from other eBayers if my descriptions are not accurate.
