smashedmac is a new Midland UK business ideally situated next to the M6 and M62 gateways giving us a reach of a little over 4 hours’ drive from any mainland UK City.

If your screen is smashed, has dead spots, or sluggish you will need a new Digitizer.

If your LCD is split, has white dusty spots or dead still coloured pixels or lines you will need a new LCD and a new Digitizer.
Why do I need a new Digitizer when it’s not smashed? It’s all to do with the process of the job and the quality of the finished product. 1. If your LCD is damaged but your Digitizer seems OK, it most likely isn’t OK, LCD fluid is corrosive and will be attacking the underside of the Digitizer thus making it likely to fail in the near future. 2. The removal operation itself is practically stressful on the Digitizer and its integrity cannot be guaranteed, because of this, we only replace both at the same time; we do not fix back old Digitizers.
