I generally sell small collectables and am always happy to combine purchases to save on postage.
Postage is normally 1st Class for the UK or small packet for elsewhere. Royal Mail provides up to £36 insurance cover on most things, above this figure I would require Special Delivery to be used with the extra cost being added to the postage.
