Some Information About robsnell61

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Sophie Snell is a professional storyteller based just outside Derby. A warm, engaging and lively performer, Sophie regularly travels throughout the UK to entertain both children and adults at public events, festivals, storytelling clubs, schools, libraries and museums.

With a wide repertoire of stories, based largely on traditional folk tales plucked from the stones and bones of the British Isles and Northern Europe, she loves tales that twist and turn, finding the unexpected, the comical and the intriguing. Author of “The Pirate’s Sister” and “Dragon’s Tales”, she also writes for children and adults.

With a background in senior management, Sophie works with both corporate and educational bodies, leading workshops and inset training sessions. Using the medium of oral storytelling, she creates tailored workshops for students of all ages (whether primary and secondary schools or corporate staff) to build confidence, creativity, oral, literacy and presentation skills.

“Bringing a story alive with voice, movement and humour, watching children giggling and entranced, or adults hooked by the story, is a magical life and I relish every moment of it!” Sophie Snell

Audience / client comments in 2009/2010:
