About Us: |
Way back in 1964, I was a Cub Scout. One of the requirements for advancement was to start a collection. I got one of those blue folders for Lincoln Cents and started filling it. My Mom and I spent hours poring through countless pennies she’d stored in an old purse looking for the dates and mintmarks I needed to fill my folder. Of course, 1964 was also the year that our country honored our slain President Kennedy on the half dollar.
Thus began my lifelong interest and fascination with coins—their art and history, and later, their value.
I'm finally shaking off the impact of a burglary that took many of the coins I had hoped to auction. Now three years on, I've decided that I still have many coins that deserve a good home with a fellow collector.
Please note that I sometimes adjust the starting bid or BuyNow (BIN) price of particular items to keep current with marketplace price changes, particularly the volatile price of silver.

Specialties: |
I'm especially fond of Proofs and Proof Sets, Morgan Dollars, Half Dollars (all types - but Ben Franklin is my hero), Washington Quarters, and I'll always have a soft spot for pennies, including Large Cents, Indian Head Cents, and of course Lincolns. While I'm no expert, I've spent a lifetime self-studying how to grade these coins in particular, as well as others of interest at certain times.
