Hi!  My name is Helen. 

I'm a (almost) full-time mum of 3 young children.  One of these mini me's is Imogen and is who I named my ebay shop after.  Well Helen's Beauty Shop doesn't really have much of a ring to it, plus she's my little ray of sunshine particularly when her 2 older brothers are arguing over the PS3!!!!

I sell high end, quality cosmetics and skincare at discounted prices.  I love make-up, love hunting out a bargain, love the buzz when I open the parcels that arrive from my suppliers and love knowing that my customers love the products and the service I provide.

I have just started selling on Ebid as Ebay has got too commercialised and also thought I'd see what the alternatives are about.  I've traded for about 4 years on Ebay and have a fantastic feedback profile and a good customer base, so buy from me with confidence- my Ebay id is becomingmum.

At the moment I do mainly sell MAC.  It's a brand I wear myself so am really familiar with the products and also love the innovativeness of the Brand itself.  Saying that I am beginning to stock more o Bobbi Brown, Benefit and Bare Escentuals ....... as well as other high end brands.

A Word about MAC

I do get questions regarding the authenticity of MAC being sold on Ebid/Ebay and fully understand these concerns.  I am in the middle of putting together a guide on Fake MAC but bear with me as it's trying to find the time to sit down and finish it at the moment! 

I am asked by buyers how I can get MAC products wholesale as MAC is exclusive to it's own outlets.  Well, like any retailer/manufacturer there will be old stock, slow moving stock, surplus stock, discontinued lines, seconds, samples and testers.  This is what wholesalers buy up and then sell on to the likes of me.  I get my stock from the US and a couple of UK suppliers (who to be honest probably get it from the same US contacts as me but are able to buy in bulk).

Maternity Clothing

Aside from eBid/Ebay, I run a maternity business (link at the bottom of this page).  I sell new and nearly new, good quality maternity garments.  I do list some of these items on eBid so if there is something you are after email me and if I have any items I can list them for you.
