Some Information About poddster
I am a retired electronics engineer. The major part of my electronics career was spent as a freelance service engineer working on all facets of of electronics from designing complex electronic devices to working on mainframe computers in the 70s and 80s.
The line of Hewlett Packard probes is virtualy bullet proof, my personal set which I used constantly for at least 30 years and still use from time to time has withstood the test of time and is still within trhe manufacture's original specification, I will never part with them and i guess there are a lot of service engineers lik me around that is why the probes are so scarce. I guess when I finally shuffle oiff my mortal coil they will find a good home. they will outlast me :)
Even though I am now retired, I keep in touch with my past life by providing high quality electonics logic and test devices that had saved me hundreds if not thousands of hours in fault finding. Just as soon as i have mastered the mechanics of this site I will be listing some of those devices.had done that on eBay for a long time but they tried to excersize too much control over the way i do things, like manage my own payments. that there is no way I would agree to. So here I am, wish me luck and i will try to bring some others to join me :)
