Some Information About pasasap
I am a catfish and carp angler. I currently fish professional level carp tournaments around the country. I also collect coins. I started collecting coins as a small child. I am currently collecting U.S. Half Cents, Large Cents, modern Commemorative Silver Dollars, and Canada Small and Large Cents. My want lists for these coins are below.
I mostly collect Half Cents and Large Cents without damage other than the coins can have some corrosion and/or be dark in color. I do not collect coins that have been altered, holed, plugged, repaired, re-colored, bent, or cleaned. I do not collect coins that have digs, deep scratches, nicks, or cuts. However, I sometimes do make exceptions when dealing with rarer coins that are hard to find and otherwise very expensive. I must see all coins in clear photos or scans before I can purchase them. Also, please understand that I am watching eBay, ebids, Webstore, and other online auctions very carefully and will not pay prices above auction averages. I also buy coins locally at local auctions. I will not pay retail or Red Book or Coin Magazine prices for coins.
Want List!
Liberty Capped Head Type Large Cents: 1794, 1795, and 1796. I am looking for coins with full lettering on both sides and will pay up to $150 depending on the coins condition. I will consider damaged coins if they are discounted for the damage.
Draped Bust Head Type Large Cents: 1796, 1797, 1798, 1801, 1803 (without stems), 1803 (Corrected Fraction), and1803 (Large Date with Pointed 1). I am paying $40 to $75 for coins grading VG+ or better without major problems and all letters visible. I will pay up to $150 for the 1796 depending on condition and varity.
Matron Head Type Large Cents: 1823/2, 1834 (Lg 8, Stars, and Medium Reverse Letters), and any double profiles. I will look at all dates as I sometimes upgrade. I am paying $25 to $50 for the common dates in VF to XF condition without problems other than what I stated above in the opening paragragh. I will pay $75 for either variety of 1821 in VF. I will pay $60 to $150 for the 1823/2 in Fine or better.
I will look at any Large Cents you have after 1835 if they grade XF or better without problems. I can get these at auction for $25 or less, so I will not pay over $25 for common dates. I also buy lots and collections of Large Cents from time to time too.
Half Cents: 1807, 1810, and 1825 must be VF or better and will not pay more than $70. 1849, 1850, 1854, and 1857 all must be XF and will not pay over $75.
Commemorative Silver Dollars: These coins must grade MS 69 and cannot be toned or spotted. I want beautiful white coins without any issues or toning. I will not pay more than Low Bid because silver is dropping.
